About the Jaguar Winterguard

The Â鶹Ïà¹Ø±¨µÀ Winterguard was created to foster positive experiences for all who participate, by promoting education, creativity, and freedom of expression through pageantry and the performing arts. The Â鶹Ïà¹Ø±¨µÀWinterguard is open to all students at Â鶹Ïà¹Ø±¨µÀwho are members of the Jaguar Marching Band. The members of the Â鶹Ïà¹Ø±¨µÀWinterguard perform as a visual unit that strives for excellence, education, and entertainment for our audience and members of the team. 

Members must be full-time students at Â鶹Ïà¹Ø±¨µÀto participate in the Winterguard and be a member of the Jaguar Marching Band. The Â鶹Ïà¹Ø±¨µÀWinterguard technique course rehearses Mondays from 4:00-5:00pm.  The competitive Â鶹Ïà¹Ø±¨µÀWinterguard rehearses Monday and Thursdays from 5:00-8:00PM during the spring semester.  All members of the Â鶹Ïà¹Ø±¨µÀWinterguard must enroll in the appropriate section for the  University Winter Guard Course (MUO 131).
