Â鶹Ïà¹Ø±¨µÀLeaders Speak at Women’s Conference

speakers at the Junior League of Mobile’s Focus Women’s Conference at the Mobile Convention
Center.
Three Â鶹Ïà¹Ø±¨µÀ leaders are among the featured speakers today at the Junior League of Mobile’s Focus Women’s Conference at the Mobile Convention Center. With a goal to educate, encourage and empower women, this event will offer a variety of speakers, panel discussions and workshops for all attendees.
Representing South Alabama are:
- Dr. Julee Waldrop, Â鶹Ïà¹Ø±¨µÀFirst Lady and professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing. She is a member of the College of Nursing Development Council and a consultant at Â鶹Ïà¹Ø±¨µÀHealth, helping to cultivate a model for professional development and optimal service to patients.
- Dr. Krista Harrell, associate dean of students and Title IX coordinator, supervisor of Student Center Services and the Office of Student Activities. She serves as membership development council manager for the Junior League of Mobile.
- Chandra Brown, advocate for women, children and families within the Mobile community. She is a member of the Â鶹Ïà¹Ø±¨µÀBoard of Trustees and executive director of Lifelines Counseling Services of Mobile, Inc., and a servant leader for Helpline phone crisis work and the Rape Crisis Center.
The mission of the Focus Women’s Conference is to empower women personally and professionally by offering workshops that develop entrepreneurial skills, encourage personal development and inspire community action.
