Graduate Assistant Job Description
About the Innovation in Learning Center (ILC)
The ILC was founded in 2011 with a mission of supporting teaching and learning at South Alabama through faculty professional development and integrated learning technologies.
Our goal is to improve the quality of learning at South by promoting a culture of innovation in which faculty, staff, and students participate collaboratively in creative teaching and learning experiences. The ILC promotes innovation through coordinated professional development initiatives and integrated instructional technologies for the traditional classroom, blended courses, and fully online learning environments. We run workshops, online courses, conferences and conduct individual consultations to achieve our goals. Graduate student development is also linked to the outcomes the ILC seeks to achieve - both from a scholarly perspective and practical training.
